Exhibitions during Mini-Grant Period

During the grant period, I participated in six exhibitions at four local venues across Cumberland County. These exhibits showcased my body of work and significantly increased public access to the arts.

  • From April 17, 2025 and ongoing, I exhibited at Dinah’s Dreams Gift Shop, a metaphysical boutique in Fayetteville, with over 1,500 visitors recorded during the grant period.

  • From May 11 to June 8, 2025, I held a solo show at the Haymount Truck Stop, a popular outdoor food venue, where over 2,100 visitors engaged with my work.

  • I participated in three large events called ART Attack! at The Church (1/1, 1/15, and 2/12), each attracting 200+ nighttime attendees for a total of 600 viewers.

  • From February 28 to March 31, 2025, I exhibited at Cape Fear Studios during their Cabin Fever Exhibition, engaging an estimated 230 visitors.

This project significantly increased access to visual arts in Fayetteville by reaching a wide audience in both traditional galleries and nontraditional spaces like food courts and gift shops. Collaborating venues helped expand the reach of this project beyond typical art-going audiences, creating a more inclusive and accessible arts experience. These activities fostered dialogue, emotional connection, and community engagement, demonstrating the power of visual storytelling in both public and cultural spaces.
